The research focus of our group involves the study of the past and present chemistry of the ocean, atmosphere and other environments and their relation to the evolution of life on Earth. A main facet of this work is the integration of geochemical data with the rock and fossil records and the application of numerical modeling techniques to reconstruct elemental cycles.
